Elizabeth Landess Arrested for DUI after Fatal Pedestrian Crash on Pacific Coast Highway [Seal Beach, CA]
Elizabeth Landess Detained in Seal Beach Pedestrian Accident
SEAL BEACH, CA (September 22, 2020) — Officers arrested a DUI driver who struck and killed a pedestrian on Pacific Coast Highway near Seal Beach Boulevard Sunday.
According to Seal Beach Police Sgt. Nick Nicholas, police officers arrested Elizabeth Landess on suspicion of DUI. Upon her arrest, they booked her into the Orange County Jail.
Investigators learned that just after midnight, Landess of Long Beach struck the unidentified pedestrian in the 15900 block of Pacific Coast Highway.
Not long after, officers responded and found a 2018 Ford Eagle. However, police also located Landess and an unresponsive man at the scene.

Officials later pronounced the man dead.
