Motorcycle Crashes into Farm Tractor in Fatal Accident on Orcutt Road near Tiffany Ranch Road in Arroyo Grande

 
ARROYO GRANDE, CA (September 18, 2020) – Police confirmed that a man died in a motorcycle crash on Orcutt Road on Friday afternoon.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened near Tiffany Ranch Road at approximately 1:07 PM.
 
Based on a report, the motorcyclist was driving a 2014 Harley Davidson northbound along Orcutt Road. In front was a John Deere tractor which was traveling at less than 15 miles per hour. Due to an unknown reason, the man decided to pass the tractor in a legal passing zone.
 
However, as he entered the southbound lane, the tractor made a left-hand turn toward a private driveway. Consequently, the victim crashed into the rear of the tractor, ejecting him from his motorcycle.
 
Medics said the man sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene. Officials did not yet release his identity pending kin notification. The driver of the tractor did not sustain any injuries.
 
Police don’t have additional information regarding the case. However, they continue to investigate the case.
