One Dies in Motorcycle Crash on Sunnyside Avenue [Clovis, CA]
Motorcycle Collides with Vehicle in Fatal Accident on Sunnyside Avenue at Shaw Avenue in Clovis
CLOVIS, CA (September 16, 2020) – Police confirmed that one person died in a motorcycle crash on Sunnyside Avenue on Wednesday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened near Shaw Avenue at approximately 04:00 PM.
Based on a report, the victim’s motorcycle was traveling east on Shaw Avenue at the time of the crash. Due to an unknown reason, it collided with a Jeep. The impact caused the motorcycle to slide and eventually stop on a concrete wall.
Clovis Police said crews tried lifesaving measures on the motorcycle driver but the victim died at the scene. Officers did not yet release the victim’s identity. The driver of the Jeep was not hurt in the incident.
No other information is available. However, the investigation into the case is on-going.
