Truck and Motorcycle Crash on Sprowl Creek Road near Old Briceland Road in Garberville
GARBERVILLE, CA (September 18, 2020) – Emergency crews reported major injuries in a motorcycle crash on Sprowl Creek Road on West 10th Street on Friday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Old Briceland Road near the Garberville Airport around 3:15 PM.
Based on a report, a young kid on a motorcycle crashed into a green diamond truck while heading westbound on Sprowl. Due to an unknown reason, the rider crossed into the eastbound lane and struck the truck.
Subsequently, first responders arrived at the scene and transported the victim to an out of area hospital with major injuries. The truck driver was not hurt in the incident.
The crash remained under investigation by the police. At this point, officials don’t have additional information to share.
