Pedestrian Dies in Train Accident on Porter Road in Dixon

 
DIXON, CA (September 16, 2020) – Police confirmed that a train struck and killed Gabriela Ahumada in an accident in the 400 block of Porter Road on Wednesday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at approximately 7:00 AM.
 
Based on a report, a train struck the pedestrian. However, the Solano County Sheriff’s Office did not state how the incident occurred. Consequently, they reported that the victim died at the scene. Officials identified the victim as Gabriela Ahumada, 42, a city resident.
 
Officers from Dixon Police are investigating the case. However, they don’t have additional details to release.
