Woman Critically Injured in Solo-Car Accident on Fort Apache Road Near Flamingo Road [Las Vegas, NV]
Woman Hospitalized in Las Vegas Accident on South Fort Apache
LAS VEGAS, NV (September 11, 2020) — A woman suffered critical injuries Wednesday night following a single-car accident on Fort Apache Road near West Flamingo Road.
According to the Metropolitan Police Department, officers arrived at the scene around 9:00 p.m. after hearing word of a major injury accident.
Through evidence at the scene, investigators determined that a silver 1999 Lexus left the roadway after traveling northbound on South Fort Apache Road and had struck a light pole. As a result, a female passenger of the Lexus sustained critical injuries.
According to news reports, the Lexus driver who suffered minor injuries showed no signs of impairment.
However, the case remains open. In addition, authorities have yet to determine the ultimate cause.
