Shelly Stevens Fatally Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver on Marsh Road Near Solano Way
CONCORD, CA (September 8, 2020)—A hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Marsh Road near Solano Way left a 35-year-old woman dead early Saturday.
According to the Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Department, sheriff’s deputies and the California Highway Patrol arrived at the 5000 block of Marsh Road.
There, crews found a deceased female in the roadway, later identifying her as 35-year-old Shelly Stevens, of Lafayette.
Due to limited evidence at the scene, investigators were only able to determine that she had been struck by a hit-and-run vehicle.
Not long after, Sheriff’s deputies found the suspect vehicle nearby.
