Man Injured in Napa Pedestrian Accident at Jefferson Street and Rubicon Street
NAPA, CA (September 4, 2020) — A driver struck and injured a pedestrian crossing at Jefferson Street and Rubicon Street Wednesday afternoon.
According to police, the 77-year-old man was roughly five feet into a marked crosswalk when the 11:30 a.m. accident occurred.
Although the impact knocked him unconscious, his condition improved after the Napa Fire Department treated and transported him to Queen of the Valley Medical Center.
Meanwhile, the driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with police investigations.
According to reports, speed and distracted driving have been ruled out as possible drivers of the crash; although, any witnesses willing to assist authorities in the investigation should call the police department.
