Cesar Paz Killed in Motorcycle Collision on East Warner Avenue Near Main Street
SANTA ANA, CA (September 8, 2020) — A 57-year-old man perished following Saturday’s motorcycle accident on East Warner Avenue near Main Street.
According to the Santa Ana Police Department, the deadly incident happened around 7:19 p.m.
Officers arrived at 100 E. Warner Ave. to learn that a man, who showed visible signs of trauma, was involved in a motorcycle crash with a truck, just minutes before.
During the investigation, officers believe Cesar Augusto Paz collided with a truck that tried crossing the westbound lanes of Warner Avenue from an alley.
Not long after, the Orange County Fire Authority responded and transported Paz to Orange County Global Medical Center in Santa Ana where he died at 8:06 p.m.
The driver of the truck stayed at the scene and cooperated with the police investigation. Alcohol has been ruled out as a possible factor; however, anyone with additional insight, should call the SAPD at (714) 245-8217 or (714) 245-8200.
