DUI Driver Involved in Crash on 90 Freeway near Geiger Boulevard in Spokane
SPOKANE, WA (September 1, 2020) – Police identified John Burton, Kyle Shelton, and Edward Shelton as the victims who suffered injuries in a DUI crash on 90 Freeway on late Tuesday evening.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the accident happened near Geiger Boulevard.
Based on a report, the three Spokane County men were taking the Geiger exit when the driver, Burton, 27, left the roadway. Subsequently, the car struck a tree and caught fire.
As a result, medics sent the three victims to Sacred Heart Hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.
Washington State Patrol believe alcohol or drugs were a factor in the crash. At this time, the case is still under investigation.
