WALNUT CREEK, CA (August 27, 2020) — Three people died in a fiery crash on 680 Freeway near North Main Street Tuesday night.
Around 10:40 p.m., a Pontiac Grand Prix drove off the roundabout freeway exit at North Main Street. Subsequently, the car struck a tree and caught on fire.
Unfortunately, all three occupants inside the vehicle died in the crash.
At this time, their identities remain unknown, but reports described them as an 18-year-old woman from Fairfield–the driver–and an 18-year-old female front seat passenger and 47-year-old Oakland man sitting in the rear seat.
