Nine Injured in Two-Vehicle Accident on Highway 76 [Oceanside, CA]
Pickup Truck and Sedan Crash on Highway 76 at Douglas Drive in Oceanside
OCEANSIDE, CA (August 31, 2020) – At least nine people suffered injuries in a two-vehicle accident on Highway 76 on Monday night.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at Douglas Drive at approximately 11:45 PM.
Based on a report, first responders found a sedan and a pickup truck at the scene. At this point, officials don’t have the details that led to the accident. However, police said both victims had significant front-end damage.
Firefighters and paramedics rescued two people who got trapped in each vehicle. In the end, Oceanside Fire Battalion sent nine people, including two children, to the hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
