Two Killed in Head-On Crash on Indian Canyon Drive [Desert Hot Springs, CA]
Two Killed, Two Injured in Crash on Indian Canyon Drive in near 18th Avenue Desert Hot Springs
DESERT HOT SPRINGS, CA (August 29, 2020) – Police confirmed that two people died in a head-on crash on Indian Canyon Drive on early Sunday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened between 18th Avenue and Dillon Road at approximately 1:02 AM.
Based on a report, first responders found a Dodge Challenger at the scene. However, authorities did not the other vehicle and the total number of people involved in the incident.
Medics rescued two victims who got trapped in the Challenger. Subsequently, they pronounced both victims dead at the scene. Officials did not yet release their names pending kin notification. In addition, Cal Fire paramedics took two other people to a local hospital for treatment. One suffered critical injuries and the other had minor injuries.
At this time, officers don’t have additional information. However, the investigation into the case is on-going.
