Man Dies in Two-Car Accident at Hosking Avenue and Monitor Street [Bakersfield, CA]
Fatal Bakersfield Car Accident at Hosking Avenue
BAKERSFIELD, CA (August 21, 2020) — A man died Wednesday morning following a two-car accident at Hosking Avenue and Monitor Street.
According to the Bakersfield Police Department, police officers responded to the intersection around 5:00 a.m. after hearing word of a major-injury collision.
Upon arriving, they found a man with severe injuries. As a result, firefighters rushed him to a local hospital. However, he died some time later.
As for the second driver, he or she remained at the scene and cooperated with police investigations.
Officers have ruled out alcohol and drugs as possible factors in the accident. However, the incident remains under investigation.
