Fatal Crash on 55 Freeway Near East 4th Street [Tustin, CA]
Deadly Car Accident in Tustin
TUSTIN, CA (August 24, 2020)—At least one person died Saturday morning in a fatal crash on 55 Freeway near East 4th Street.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 10:08 a.m. on the northbound side of the freeway.
A Caltrans employee responded to the scene and told CHP that a white Hyundai sedan with three occupants had been involved in a collision.
Reports did not specify how many people died in the accident, which left the No. 2 and 3 lanes blocked by fire engines.
By 12:14 p.m., crews reopened the lanes.
