Two Men Hospitalized in DUI Accident on Highway 105 [Aberdeen, WA]

ABERDEEN, WA (August 17, 2020) – Medics sent two men to the hospital in a DUI accident on Highway 105 on Monday morning.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the incident happened near Plum Street around 9:46 AM.
Based on a report, the victims were driving southbound on the highway at the time of the crash. Due to an unknown reason, the driver failed to negotiate a curve to the right and crossed the centerline. Consequently, it hit a trailer pulled by an SUV.
As a result, medics transported both Rochester men, ages 38 and 42, to the hospital with injuries. The SUV driver, a 61-year-old Mattawa man, was not hurt in the incident.
Investigators determined that drugs or alcohol played a role in the collision and charges are pending for the 38-year-old driver.
