2 Seriously Injured in Multi-Car Crash on Village Drive [Victorville, CA]
Public Works City of Victorville Utility Truck Involved in Crash on Village Drive in Victorville
VICTORVILLE, CA (August 17, 2020) – At least two people suffered serious injuries in a multi-car crash on Village Drive on Monday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Llanada Road at approximately 11:53 AM.
Based on a report, a 2007 silver Honda Civic, a silver older-model Honda, and a Public Works City of Victorville utility truck crashed in the lanes. First responders found the Honda Civic partially lodged on a curb with major damage and the older-model Honda was in the middle of the road.
As a result, emergency crews extricated the driver of the older-model Honda from his vehicle. Subsequently, an air ambulance sent him to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center with critical injuries. In addition, an occupant in the 2007 Honda was not stable to be airlifted to a facility and rews used a ground ambulance to send him to a local hospital in grave condition. Fortunately, the occupants in the utility truck were not hurt in the incident.
CHP officers don’t have additional information at this time. However, they continue to investigate the case.
