Pedestrian Killed in Hit-and-Run on 236th Street NE [Arlington, WA]
Hit-and-Run Driver Wanted after Fatal Pedestrian Accident on of 236th Street NE in Arlington
ARLINGTON, WA (August 4, 2020) – Police confirmed that a pedestrian got killed in a hit-and-run in the 2000 block of 236th Street NE on early Tuesday morning.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the incident happened near 19th Avenue NE around 4:45 AM.
Based on a report, an unidentified vehicle struck the victim. Consequently, the suspect left the scene. However, officials didn’t have yet the full details surrounding the accident.
Snohomish County Sheriff’s officers responded to the crash. As a result, they confirmed that the victim died on the scene.
Officials closed both directions of 236th Street from 19th to 27th while officers investigated the case. However, they don’t have additional information to share at this time.
