Woman Dies after Hit-and-Run Accident on Thomas Road [Phoenix, AZ]
Hit-and-Run Driver Wanted After Deadly Accident on Thomas Road and 27th Avenue in Phoenix
PHOENIX, AZ (August 1, 2020) – Police confirmed that a woman died after a hit-and-run accident on Thomas Road on Saturday night.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, the incident happened near 27th Avenue at approximately 6:00 PM.
Based on a report, police and fire personnel located a woman with injuries. Officials believed that a vehicle struck the victim and left the scene.
Emergency crews transported her to a hospital in critical condition but she later died due to injuries. Police did not release her name pending kin notification.
Police did yet not release any information on the vehicle or driver. However, they asked anyone who witnessed the incident to call police at 480-948-6377.
