Two Killed in Fiery Car Crash on Westlake Boulevard [Thousand Oaks, CA]
Single Vehicle Fatal Accident in Thousand Oaks
THOUSAND OAKS, CA (August 2, 2020) – Police confirmed that two people died in a fiery car crash on Westlake Boulevard on early Sunday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened just north of Skelton Canyon Circle around 1:30 AM.
Based on a report, a vehicle was traveling south on Westlake when, for an unknown reason, it crashed into a tree. Consequently, it burst into flames.
As a result, emergency crews found the car’s two occupants dead. The Ventura County Sheriff’s Office did not release their names pending kin notification.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation. However, authorities are asking anyone who may have seen the incident to call them at 805-494-8245.
