Woman Injured in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident on Wind River Road in Carson
CARSON, WA (July 19, 2020) – Police arrested Ellis Scrivens after a hit-and-run in the 1400 block of Wind River Road on Sunday evening.
According to Washington State Patrol, the collision happened near Smith Beckon Road around 8:12 PM.
Based on a report, the 27-year-old woman hit a pedestrian and left the scene. Officials from the Skamania County Sheriff’s Office revealed that a 57-year-old woman was walking on the shoulder of Wind River with a 12-year-old family friend when the suspect’s sedan struck her.
Emergency crews rushed the victim to an area hospital with critical injuries to her head, arm, and torso. The 12-year-old was not hurt in the incident.
The sheriff’s office took Ellis M. Scrivens, 27, into custody. Finally, they booked her into the Skamania County Jail on a charge of felony hit-and-run.
