77-Year-Old Missing Man Found Dead after Car Crash on Old Highway 395 [Fallbrook, CA]
One Killed in Car Crash on Old Highway 395 at 15 Freeway in Fallbrook
FALLBROOK, CA (July 25, 2020) – Police found a 77-year-old missing man dead after an apparent car crash on Old Highway 395 on Saturday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near 15 Freeway after 4:17 PM.
Based on reports, the man’s family members called the CHP regarding a missing person they were attempting to locate. Police were able to locate the phone. When they arrived at the scene, they found a 2016 Mercedes down an embankment and out of sight from traffic.
The 77-year-old missing person was inside the car. Police pronounced him deceased at the scene.
At this point, police don’t have additional information. However, they continue to investigate the cause of the collision.
