Fatal Pedestrian Crash in North Fork at Road 224 Near Road 226

 
NORTH FORK, CA (July 24, 2020) – A pedestrian died Thursday morning after being hit by a vehicle on Road 224 near Road 226.
 
The deadly crash happened around 3:30 a.m. According to the California Highway Patrol, under unknown circumstances, a driver struck the pedestrian causing that person fatal injuries.
 
Crews had to close the road and encourage drivers to avoid the area. Police did not release any additional information at this time.
 
At this time, the identity of the victim has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
