70-Year-Old Man Dies in Pedestrian Accident on Owens Avenue [Las Vegas, NV]
Vehicle and Pedestrian Crash on Owens Avenue at Eastern Avenue in Las Vegas
LAS VEGAS, NV (July 17, 2020) – Police confirmed that a 70-year-old man died in a pedestrian accident on Owens Avenue on Friday afternoon.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the collision happened near Eastern Avenue at approximately 3:19 PM.
Based on a report, the pedestrian was crossing Eastern Avenue when a 1991 Ford F-150 hit him.
As a result, emergency crews found the man roadway down in the ground. They rushed him to UMC Trauma, where he later died due to severe injuries.
The driver of the F-150 remained at the scene and did not display any signs of impairment. In addition, police do not believe speed was a factor in this crash. However, they continue to investigate the incident.
