One Killed in Pedestrian Accident on Nuevo Road [Perris, CA]
Vehicle and Pedestrian Crash on West Nuevo Road near Perris Boulevard in Perris
PERRIS, CA (July 19, 2020) – Police confirmed that one person got killed in a pedestrian crash in the 100 block of West Nuevo Road on Sunday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Perris Boulevard at about 1:25 PM.
Based on a report, a gray 2019 Chevrolet Trax hit the male pedestrian. Afterward, the vehicle also hit a vacant building. The Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department and the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department did not state the details that led to the accident.
Emergency crews pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene. They did not release his name pending kin notification.
Police detained the Trax driver for questioning.
