Vehicle and Motorcycle Involved in Deadly Crash on Herndon Avenue near Thompson Avenue in Clovis
CLOVIS, CA (July 13, 2020) – Police identified 74-year-old Chris Green as the victim who got killed in a motorcycle accident on Herndon Avenue on Monday night.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Thompson Avenue just after 6:00 PM.
Based on a report, the Clovis man was riding his motorcycle when he collided with a vehicle. As detailed by the police report, Green’s 2011 Kawasaki Z1000 was behind a 2015 Toyota Sienna prior to the incident. In addition, the collision occurred when the vehicles were about to enter the westbound lane on Thompson.
As a result, the impact ejected the rider from the motorcycle. Consequently, paramedics pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
CHP said it is still investigating the collision. At this time, they don’t have additional details related to the case.
