2 Dead in Car Collision at Harley Knox Boulevard and Patterson Avenue [Perris, CA]
Fatal Two-Vehicle Collision at Harley Knox Boulevard in Perris
PERRIS, CA (July 14, 2020) — A two-car collision at Harley Knox Boulevard and Patterson Avenue killed two people on Monday.
According to the Riverside County Fire Department, the fatal incident occurred around 11:45 a.m., just east of the 215 Freeway.
Authorities remain unsure as to what caused the two cars to collide; however, they believe one vehicle collided with the other at a high rate of speed.
Upon arriving, firefighters found a vehicle on fire with one person trapped inside. Unfortunately, that occupant died 10 minutes later.
This person’s identity, as well as the other fatal victim’s name and residence, has not been confirmed.
According to reports, a witness informed officers that one person involved in the accident fled the scene. Police, however, will look into this claim further.
