2 Injured in Postal Van Crash on East Street [Woodland, CA]
Postal Van and Sedan Crash on East Street at North Street in Woodland
WOODLAND, CA (July 12, 2020) – At least two people suffered injuries in a postal van crash on East Street on Sunday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at North Street around 8:48 AM.
Based on a report, the postal van collided with a silver four-door sedan. However, it did not state the details that led to the crash. Responders found the van facing west in the intersection, while impact pushed the silver sedan into the railroad tracks.
Emergency crews rescued the sedan driver out of the vehicle. They took him to a nearby hospital for treatment of unknown injuries. The van driver suffered minor injuries in the incident.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the crash. However, they don’t have additional details at this time.
