DULZURA, CA (July 3, 2020) — One person sustained serious injuries following Thursday morning’s head-on crash on Highway 94 near Otay Truck Trail.
 
According to Cal Fire San Diego spokesman Thomas Shoots, the crash involved an SUV and a construction-like vehicle around 7:20 a.m.
 
The circumstances in which the accident happened were not available. However, a person in the SUV suffered major injuries. As a result, paramedics transported that victim to a nearby hospital for further evaluation.
 
According to photos from the scene, the SUV sustained significant front-end damage.
 
As for the other four other occupants, neither of them suffered any type of injury.
