Fatal Accident on Elkhorn Boulevard Reported in Natomas

 
NATOMAS, CA (July 2, 2020) — A Wednesday morning crash along West Elkhorn Boulevard near Highway 99 turned fatal, authorities confirmed.
 
Things took a turn for the worst around 7:30 a.m. just north of the Natomas area.
 
According to the Sacramento Fire Department, one person died, and another suffered unknown injuries in the crash. In addition, fire officials treated one person at the scene for unknown injuries.
 
Unfortunately, details pertaining to how the accident unfolded were not available.
 
Due to the accident, both directions of West Elkhorn Boulevard remained closed as authorities investigated the scene. However, if anyone has information surrounding this crash, please call the local department.
