Joshua Stricklin Detained, Two Teenagers Hospitalized After Spokane Crash
SPOKANE, WA (July 3, 2020) – Police arrested Joshua Stricklin after a DUI accident on Division Street on Friday evening.
According to the Spokane Police Department, the collision happened at Buckeye Avenue around 10:00 PM.
Based on a report, 21-year-old Stricklin was driving a car at a high rate of speed before it hit the center median. As a result, he lost control and crashed the car into a building. In addition, one passenger ran away after the crash.
Emergency crews sent the other two passengers, both teenagers, to the hospital for treatment. Spokane Police said one of the victims may lose his eye due to injuries.
A drug recognition expert determined Stricklin to be under the influence at the time of the crash. As a result, police arrested him for vehicular assault.
