Rider Killed in Motorcycle Accident on Grand Avenue [Lake Elsinore, CA]

Fatal Crash on Grand Avenue near Highway 74 in Lake Elsinore

 
LAKE ELSINORE, CA (July 7, 2020) – Police confirmed that a rider got killed in a motorcycle accident in the 15996 block of Grand Avenue on Tuesday afternoon.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened just east of Highway 74 at approximately 4:17 PM.
 
Based on a report, the victim’s motorcycle collided with a Toyota Camry. However, it did not state the events that led to the crash.
 
The impact caused significant injuries on the motorcycle rider. Emergency crews pronounced the victim dead at the scene. Police did not release the identity of the victim pending next of kin notification.
 
An investigation into the incident is underway. As of now, it is still unclear if speed, drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
