Pedestrian Hurt after Henderson Crash on Lake Mead Parkway and Boulder Highway
HENDERSON, NV (July 3, 2020) — A pedestrian suffered serious injuries Thursday after being struck by a semi-truck at East Lake Mead Parkway and South Boulder Highway.
According to Henderson Police, the accident happened around 11:10 a.m. along the eastbound side of Lake Mead Parkway.
Officers determined that the pedestrian stood in the center median and walked onto the road, crossing into the path of the oncoming truck for unknown reasons.
As a result of the crash, the pedestrian sustained severe injuries.
During their investigation, police ruled out alcohol and drugs as possible factors of the accident. However, police did not release any additional information surrounding the events of the crash.
