Randy Estrada Dies in Hit-and-Run Crash on Shields Avenue [Fresno County, CA]
Hit-and-Run Driver Involved in Fatal Crash in Fresno County
FRESNO COUNTY, CA (July 2, 2020) – Police identified 60-year-old Randy Estrada as the victim who died in a hit-and-run crash on Shields Avenue on Thursday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Howard Avenue.
A report from Fresno Police showed that a 2001 silver Toyota Corolla that was heading south on Howard failed to stop at a sign. As a result, it struck the vehicle by Randy Estrada of Fresno.
Paramedics said the victim was not wearing a seat belt and impact ejected him out of the car. As a result, they proclaimed him dead at the scene.
The other driver did not stop and continued south of Howard.
Police are still investigating the case to identify and locate the suspect. However, they have no additional information this time.
