Fatal Motorcycle Accident on 5 Freeway at Via De La Valle in Del Mar

 
DEL MAR, CA (July 4, 2020) – Police confirmed that a motorcyclist got killed in a multi-vehicle crash on 5 Freeway northbound on Saturday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Via De La Valle at approximately 5:07 AM.
 
A report showed that the victim’s motorcycle collided with a white sedan and a truck. However, it did not state the details that led to the fatal pile-up accident.
 
As a result, responders pronounced the motorcycle rider dead at the scene. They did not release the victim’s name pending notification of next of kin.
 
Crews closed all northbound traffic near Del Mar Heights Road.
