Rider Injured in San Marcos Crash in Fry’s Electronics Parking Lot

 
SAN MARCOS, CA (June 30, 2020) – A motorcyclist suffered serious injuries following Sunday’s crash at a store’s parking lot located on South Bent Avenue near Grand Avenue.
 
According to authorities, the unidentified rider suffered serious injuries after colliding with a two-door Acura sedan around 6:15 p.m.
 
Due to the impact, the rider flew off his motorcycle and suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
 
A preliminary investigation suggests that the 23-year-old man was traveling northbound in a Fry’s Electronics store parking lot when he rammed into the driver’s side of the westbound Acura.
 
Details surrounding who had been at fault or at what speed either had been going have not been determined.
 
Thus far, investigators have ruled out alcohol and drugs as possible factors in the accident.
