LAPD Patrol SUV and Pickup Truck Involved in Sylmar Crash
SYLMAR, CA (June 29, 2020) – Two officers suffered injuries in an LAPD patrol car crash on Polk Street on late Monday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Dronfield Avenue at approximately 5:00 PM.
Responding firefighters found the victims trapped in an LAPD patrol SUV. A report showed that the SUV got involved in a crash with a pickup truck.
As a response, crews extricated the officers from the wreck. The victims suffered unknown injuries. Paramedics said they transported the officers and at least one other person to the hospital for evaluation and treatment.
LAPD’s Valley Traffic Division was investigating the crash. However, officials don’t have additional details as of this time.
