Driver Dies After Crashing with Semi-Trucks on Airport Way Near Louise Avenue [Manteca, CA]
Speed Likely in Fatal Manteca Crash on Airport Way Near Louise Avenue
MANTECA, CA (July 2, 2020) — A driver died Wednesday morning after colliding with two semi-trucks on South Airport Way near Louise Avenue.
According to news reports, tragedy struck around 12:30 a.m. For unknown reasons, a car struck two semi-trucks on Airport Way near Louise Avenue.
It appears speed might have had played a role in the accident given the aftermath of the collision. In addition to the momentum needed to strike two semi-trucks with that kind of force, investigators say.
The car wedged itself underneath one of the trucks during the collision and caused significant injuries to the driver. As a result, the victim died at the scene. However, his identity has not been released at this point.
Our hearts and sincere sympathies are with the family and friends of the victim.
