Several Injured in Rear-End Car Crash on Nelson Lane
LINCOLN, CA (July 2, 2020) — Paramedics treated five injured people following Wednesday’s two-car crash on Nelson Lane near Highway 65.
According to the California Highway Patrol, an oncoming sedan rear-ended an SUV that was stopped at the traffic light. The cause of the impact sent the sedan into a nearby traffic light pole before it fully came to a rest.
Officers say a man and a woman inside the sedan suffered minor injuries. Meanwhile, three people in the SUV complained of pain.
In their investigation, officers determined that neither alcohol nor drugs played a role in the accident; however, it remains unclear as to what drove the sedan to crash into the SUV.
