Jessie Andrade, Aracely Hernandez Killed in Motorcycle Accident on 31st Avenue [Phoenix, AZ]
Two Killed in Motorcycle and Pickup Truck Crash in Phoenix
PHOENIX, AZ (June 28, 2020) – Police identified Jessie Andrade & Aracely Hernandez as the victims who died in a motorcycle crash on 31st Avenue on Sunday afternoon.
According to Phoenix Police, the collision happened near Indian School Road at approximately 2:00 PM.
Andrade was driving a motorcycle with Hernandez as his passenger when the crash happened. Reports showed that Andrade switched to the middle lane while nearing the intersection before the collision. For an unknown reason, his motorcycle collided with a pickup truck.
Crews took him and Hernandez to the hospital, where they both later died from their injuries. The driver and a passenger in the truck did not sustain injuries in the crash.
Police said impairment was not suspected as a factor in the incident. However, the investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the incident.
