Jeanna Pryor Killed, Francisco Diaz Injured in Crash on Highway 29 [American Canyon, CA]
Two Vehicles Involved in Deadly Crash on Highway 29 near Kimberly Drive in American Canyon
AMERICAN CANYON, CA (June 29, 2020) – Police identified Jeanna Pryor as the victim who died in a crash on Highway 29 on Monday.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Kimberly Drive.
Reports showed that Jeanna Estelle Pryor, 47, of American Canyon, was driving a silver Toyota pickup heading south on the highway when she lost control of her vehicle. As a result, it crossed the dirt median into northbound lanes and collided with a white Toyota pickup.
Pryor wasn’t wearing a seatbelt. As a result, the impact ejected her from the vehicle. Medical responders pronounced her dead at Queen of the Valley Medical Center. In addition, crews took the driver of the pickup, Francisco Santos-Diaz, 35 of Vallejo, to a nearby hospital for moderate injuries.
Crews closed all northbound lanes of the highway to give way to rescue and clearing operations.
The California Highway Patrol did not release additional information. However, officers are investigating the collision.
