Trooper Hospitalized in Accident on 90 Freeway Near Sunset Hills [Spokane, WA]
Trooper Injured in Crash With Semi-Truck in Spokane
SPOKANE, WA (June 19, 2020) — A Washington State Patrol Trooper suffered injuries following Sunday’s accident on 90 Freeway near Sunset Hills.
According to Trooper Jeff Sevigney, the state trooper parked on the right shoulder of the eastbound freeway when the incident occurred.
Details remain ambiguous as to why a semi-truck driver drifted to the shoulder and struck the car.
No information surrounding whether the driver of the semi-truck had been cited or arrested was available.
As for the officer, paramedics transported the victim to a hospital for further treatment.
