Teen Lana Lewis Struck and Injured by Hit-and-Run Vehicle in Fairfield Accident

 
FAIRFIELD, CA (June 22, 2020) – Police identified Lana Lewis as the 14-year-old girl who suffered injuries in a hit-and-run near Green Valley Middle School on Monday afternoon.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened on Gold Hill Road at approximately 1:28 PM.
 
Lewis was riding her bike when a vehicle struck her. As a result, the teen rolled over the hood of the vehicle. In addition, the driver fled the scene after the incident. Police identified the hit-and-run vehicle as a 2003 or 2004 Toyota Camry.
 
Emergency crews said the victim sustained a laceration in her leg with seven stitches, along with scrapes and bruises in the accident.
 
An investigation is ongoing. However, as of this week, the Fairfield Police do not have any leads on the suspect. A $1,000 reward is being offered for tips that lead to the arrest and conviction of the suspect. Police are asking anyone who has information to call the Fairfield PD at 707-428-7300.
