6-Year-Old Boy Seriously Injured in DUI Crash on Dewey Drive [Fair Oaks, CA]

FAIR OAKS, CA (June 28, 2020) – A 6-year-old boy suffered serious injuries in a DUI crash on Dewey Drive on early Sunday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Winding Way at approximately 1:30 AM.
Reports showed that, for an unknown reason, a suspected drunken woman crashed her car into a concrete wall.
The woman sustained unknown injuries. Her passenger, a 6-year-old boy, suffered life-threatening injuries. Paramedics took both victims to separate hospitals for treatment.
Officers arrested but later released the woman to the hospital due to her injuries. In addition, they continue to investigate the crash.
