Woman Injured in Hit-and-Run on Friars Road and Frazee Road [San Diego, CA]
Driver Hurt in Hit-and-Run San Diego Accident
SAN DIEGO, CA (June 26, 2020) — A woman suffered severe injuries in a hit-and-run two-car accident at Friars and Frazee roads Wednesday.
According to San Diego Police Officer Robert Heims, the incident befell around 5:30 p.m.
Authorities say that a 60-year-old woman operating a 2007 Lexus sedan southbound on Frazee Road collided with a blue Ford pickup truck, heading westbound on Friars Road.
Evidence has led detectives to determine that the driver of the Ford blew through a red traffic light and struck the driver’s side of the Lexus.
As a result, the woman suffered major injuries.
The driver continued down the road before pulling over a short distance away and exiting the vehicle. However, as of late, his or her whereabouts are unknown.
If anyone has information surrounding this hit-and-run crash, please call authorities.
