Logun Gulden Killed in Motorcycle Accident on Loma Rica Road [Marysville, CA]
Vehicle and Motorcycle Involved in Fatal Yuba County Accident
MARYSVILLE, CA (June 21, 2020) – Police identified Logun Gulden as the victim who died in a motorcycle crash on Loma Rica Road on Sunday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Las Quintas Way at approximately 6:00 PM.
The Yuba County Sheriff’s Office reported that Logun Lee Gulden, 23, was riding a 1978 Suzuki GS 550 motorcycle northbound on Loma Rica at the time of the accident At the same time, a 2010 Jeep Wrangler, driven by Osvaldo Dominguez Roman, 20, of Magalia, made a left turn from Las Quintas onto Loma Rica.
Due to unknown reasons, Roman did not see the motorcycle and failed to give Gulden the right of way. As a result, the front of the motorcycle collided with the left side of the Jeep.
The crash impact ejected Gulden from the motorcycle. Emergency crews pronounced him dead at the scene. In addition, Roman and a passenger in the Jeep, Lindsey Jane Ferrini, 19, of Marysville, sustained minor injuries.
Police did not make any arrests as the incident is still under investigation.
