SUNNYVALE, CA (June 21, 2020) – A car crashed into a home in a DUI accident on Murphy Avenue on early Sunday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Borregas Avenue around 12:21 AM.
 
A report showed that a silver Mercedes SUV was traveling at high speed before it smashed into a home in the South Bay area. The vehicle crashed right through the wall and into two rooms where a family was sleeping inside. As a result, the vehicle ran over a man. In addition, the driver of the vehicle tried to run away from the scene.
 
Good Samaritans and first responders found the man under the SUV. The victim suffered injuries in the incident.
 
Police arrested the SUV driver for suspicion of DUI. They continue to investigate the DUI accident. However, they did not release further information.
