Sergio Montes Killed in Pedestrian Accident on San Bruno Avenue [San Francisco, CA]
Sergio Montes Fatally Struck by Car at San Bruno Avenue and Dwight Street
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (June 23, 2020)—A vehicle fatally struck a 63-year-old pedestrian at the corner of San Bruno Avenue and Dwight Street Thursday.
According to police, the incident befell around 7 a.m. moments before officers arrived to find Sergio Montes with serious injuries.
Paramedics ushered the Richmond man to a local hospital where, despite life-saving attempts, he succumbed to his injuries.
The driver involved in the pedestrian crash stopped at the scene and waited for authorities to arrive. Detectives do not believe impairment contributed to the accident, but they are continuing their search for the cause and events that led to the impact.
