Rider Airlifted After Motorcycle Crash on Amargosa Road [Victorville, CA]
Vehicle and Motorcycle Involved in Accident near Roy Rogers Drive in Victorville
VICTORVILLE, CA (June 20, 2020) – Paramedics airlifted a rider to a trauma center after a motorcycle crash on Amargosa Road northbound on Saturday night.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Roy Rogers Drive at approximately 8:45 PM.
Responders from Victorville City Fire located a four-door burgundy Saturn sedan and a blue Harley Davidson motorcycle at the scene. However, it was not clear what led to the crash.
The rider suffered injuries in the incident. Crews requested a helicopter to land at Victor Valley Global Medical Center and airlifted the victim to an out of area trauma center for treatment. In addition, the female driver of the sedan was not injured.
Firefighters temporarily blocked traffic in both directions to give way to rescue and clearing operations.
The Victorville Police Department is still investigating the case. However, they ask anyone with information to call 760-241-2911.
