Mikael Mezhlumyan, Edik Mezhlumyan Injured in Fatal Truck Accident [Lancaster, CA]
Mikael Mezhlumyan, Edik Mezhlumyan Hurt in Deadly Two-Vehicle Collision in Lancaster
LANCASTER, CA (June 23, 2020) — A 27-year-old man died in Sunday’s two-vehicle collision at East Avenue H and 90th Street East.
The deadly accident also left two men seriously hurt.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the event took place around 5:41 p.m. A 1999 Ford F350 truck eastbound on Avenue H drove directly into the path of a northbound 2001 Dodge 35.
CHP noted that the northbound Dodge slammed into the eastbound Ford, seriously injuring 31-year-old Edik Mezhlumyan of Tujunga — the Ford passenger — and Mikael Mezhlumyan of Glendale — the 34-year-old Ford driver.
Unfortunately, the Lancaster man operating the Dodge died in the accident. However, his name has yet to be released pending notification of family members.
CHP officials confirmed that an investigation has yet to determine where the fault lies. In addition, they must find possible factors that could have contributed to the accident. Thus far, neither alcohol nor drugs are believed to have played a role.
If anyone has insight into the car accident, call Officer Rogers at the CHP Antelope Valley Office at 661-948-8541.
